I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) based in Florida. I received my Masters from Florida Atlantic University in 2008. I help adults struggling with OCD, anxiety, and ADHD find lasting change. I take an eclectic approach to treatment, utilizing ERP, CBT, mindfulness, nutrition, & creative & somatic techniques. I enjoy helping clients move from stuck or on auto-pilot to living more authentically.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
We get to work the first session. Clients often come to the first session with symptoms that warrant change, and they should not have to wait several weeks to find relief.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
I have a natural affinity toward empathy. I have also experienced, either personally or through others, a wide variety of challenges and symptoms that help me deeply understand what the client is going through. This allows for greater insight, recommendations and discourse based on lived experience, and a therapeutic alliance that helps the client feel seen.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I love working with young neurodivergent and autistic individuals struggling with OCD, fears, boundaries, anxiety, and ADHD symptoms. My clients are motivated for change, willing to try new things, and do the work in between sessions.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
Used with a wide range of symptoms to identify and change thought patterns.
Eclectic
I use multiple therapeutic approaches based on the individual's specific needs.
Mind-body approach
I take a holistic approach to treatment, inviting both the mind and body to heal together.
Mindfulness-Based Therapy
Used throughout the therapy process to assist in bringing the past and future into the present moment.
