Hi, I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, and for over seven years I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside people as they work toward personal growth and healing. Whether you’re facing grief, disappointment, or patterns that keep you feeling stuck, I’m here to help you find clarity and create a more balanced, satisfying life. My approach is collaborative and supportive-helping people uncover their strengths and make meaningful changes in their lives.
In our first session, I’ll invite you to share what brings you to therapy and what you hope to gain from our work together. You don’t need to have everything figured out—just a willingness to talk about what’s been on your mind. I’ll also ask some background questions to better understand your history and current situation so we can develop a plan that fits your needs.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in both compassion and evidence-based practice. I draw from cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and person-centered techniques to help you better understand yourself and make meaningful changes. Together, we’ll work on identifying patterns that no longer serve you, building coping tools, and nurturing a sense of balance and resilience. Most clients describe feeling more grounded, self-aware, and capable of handling life’s ups and downs with greater ease.
Many of the clients I work with—both teens and adults—struggle with how to manage strong emotions that sometimes lead to difficulties in relationships, school, or work. I provide a supportive space to explore those feelings and develop healthier ways to express and cope with them.
I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients make meaningful change. In our first session, we’ll talk about what led you to seek therapy and what you’d like to achieve. Through CBT, we’ll look at how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors interact—and work together to shift unhelpful patterns and build strategies that support your well-being.
If you often find your emotions feel overwhelming or hard to manage, DBT can be a powerful approach to help you regain balance. This therapy focuses on both acceptance and change—helping you acknowledge your current reality while learning new ways to respond that support your goals and well-being. With practice, DBT can help you let go of unhelpful behaviors and create a more satisfying, grounded life.
