My journey began when I was willing to look within to discover my own unhappiness, as I gain insight and understanding I feel in love with the therapeutic process. After years in my own unknowing place I took a risk and went back to school and got my Master Degree from Fordham University. I am passionate about what I do, the art of helping others find their own fulfillment, inner satisfaction and joy is what this is all about.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

A productive and successful therapeutic relationship is based on chemistry and fits between a client and therapist. I strongly believe in the collaborative nature of therapy, and I invite you to call and see how you feel after we meet.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My approach to therapy is direct, attentive, and engaging, and I use several different techniques that meet your needs and help guide you on your path.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I understand stages of transition, particularly for young adults who have, and are entering into the real world of life, work and relationship and the fears that this can stir up. My focus is on reducing your fear and anxiety and help guide you with a healthy transition. As you age your priorities shift, you begin to view your life with an added lens of dimension you have not experienced before leading to uncomfortable feelings, worries and sometimes self sought. Here I work with you to identify where your inner world is not in harmony with your outer world and identifying fear and barriers to being in-sync with yourself And then again the transition into the "now what do I do with my life".

My treatment methods

Eclectic

Our life experiences inform who we are, what we believe, and how we act. From our early years through today, the filter we see life through informs our well-being. By fine-tuning your lens, you discover the truth of who you really are. By identifying and removing your barriers, you become one with your essence/core/spirit. As life’s challenges begin to fade, it allows you to experience yourself and those around you positively and lovingly.

Psychodynamic

My approach to therapy is direct, interactive and supportive. I use different techniques to match your needs and help guide you on your path. I work with individuals experiencing life transitions, feeling as though something is still missing in their life or are looking to make peace with themselves.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I work with you to discover underlying core fears and the chief defenses your personailty has developed to help you survive life which no longer are of service to you.
