(she/her)
Hi! My name is Samantha. I am a licensed counselor in the state of Pennsylvania. I focus on building relationships with my clients to help them reach their goals. I understand that each person is unique and that every person needs an individualized approach. The majority of my practice focuses on assisting my clients to understand who they are, why they operate the way they do, and ways to build their ideal life
During our first session my goal is to help you feel comfortable sharing what brought you to therapy. This is a chance for us to get to know each other and see if we are a good fit! I am excited to learn more about who you are and what your goals are.
One thing that often stands out about my approach is the way I thoughtfully use humor in the therapy room. Therapy doesn’t have to feel stiff or intimidating!
I care deeply about individuals struggling with drug and alcohol addictions, as well as family members who are affected by the impacts of addiction. Additionally, I am highly trained in exposure response prevention for OCD and Anxiety. I also have experience working with mood disorders, psychotic disorders, suicidal ideation, trauma, self-harm, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and co-occurring disorders. I understand it can be scary taking the first step into counseling. My goal is to create a safe, comfortable place to work together on rebuilding hope and healing for all

Exposure Response Prevention (ERP)
Exposure and response prevention (ERP) therapy is a powerful way to break the cycle of fear and compulsions. By gradually facing anxiety triggers without turning to rituals, ERP helps retrain your brain. It’s a treatment for OCD and anxiety.
