About me

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with experience in private practice, community residential, and academic settings. I work with adolescents and adults ages 15–65 experiencing anxiety, mood concerns, grief, and life transitions. My approach is person-centered and CBT-informed, with the goal of empowering clients to live authentically, and heal from negative experiences.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Your first session is a comfortable, judgment-free opportunity to share what brings you to therapy and what you hope to gain from the process. We’ll talk about your current concerns, your goals, and what has been going on in your life. You’ll also have the opportunity to ask questions and get a sense of whether we’re a good fit to work together. You don’t need to have everything figured out before you begin. My goal is for you to leave your first session feeling heard, understood, and with greater clarity about the next steps in your therapeutic journey.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I offer a complimentary 10–15 minute consultation to ensure a good clinical fit. During intake, we explore your history, strengths, and goals to create a collaborative treatment plan. Progress often looks like improved decision-making, increased confidence, stronger self-trust, and healthier boundaries. My goal is to empower you to take up space, live authentically, and heal from negative experiences.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal client is someone who is ready to better understand themselves, navigate life’s challenges, and create meaningful change. They may be struggling with anxiety, stress, relationships, self-esteem, life transitions, or simply feeling stuck. They are open to self-reflection, willing to explore new perspectives, and looking for a supportive, nonjudgmental space to grow, heal, and move forward with greater confidence and clarity.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients better understand how their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are connected. Together, we identify unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors that may be keeping you stuck, then develop healthier ways to respond to challenges. My approach is collaborative and practical, with tools and strategies you can apply in your everyday life—not just during therapy sessions. Over time, CBT can help you build greater self-awareness, improve coping skills, and feel more confident in navigating difficult thoughts, emotions, and situations.
