I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Florida. I received my Masters from the University of Pittsburgh and have been practicing for 27 years. I help children, and young adults up to and including seniors struggling with a variety of issues including depression, anxiety, ADHD, grief, OCD, and trauma. My approach combines cognitive behavioral solution-focused therapy. I will work with you to develop a treatment approach that matches your unique needs. I will help you to find solutions and make positive changes in your life. I will help motivate you to achieve and sustain desired behavioral changes. I can help you find solutions rather than dwelling on the problems.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, and gather background information about your past and how you think you got here. Then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I have a positive strengths based approach which will help you to focus on how to use your strengths to your advantage rather than focusing or dwelling on your problems. I will help motivate you to not only achieve but to sustain long lasting desired behavioral change.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I love working with clients who want to make changes and improve their lives for the better. I like to provide the road map and tools to get there. I am a trauma-trained therapist in the process of International EMDR Certification through EMDRIA. I also have advanced training in ADHD from the ADD Coach Academy.

Strength-Based

I focuses on a person's strengths and resourcefulness instead of their weaknesses. The goal of this holistic mental health approach is to improve a person's mindset, create a positive worldview, and help them see themselves as resilient. It can be useful for many people, including those with poor self-esteem, emotional issues, serious mental health problems, or who are averse to therapy.
