I aim to work supportively and collaboratively with clients to create a warm, inviting atmosphere that allows us to work together towards your goals. I work with adolescents, young adults, and adults, with a focus on anxiety and depression, life transitions, sports psychology and athlete mental health, disordered eating, self esteem, body image concerns, ADHD, grief and loss, and trauma.
I work from a strengths-based perspective, using a variety of modalities to tailor each session to the needs of my client.
I engage with my clients in a culturally competent manner, identifying and respecting racial, ethnic, sexual orientation, gender identity, socioeconomic, and values-based differences.
I specialize in helping clients work through life transitions, life stressors, self esteem concerns, trauma, and sports performance concerns. As a former veterinary technician, I also have an interest in working with individuals struggling with grief/loss, burnout, and secondary trauma within the medical and veterinary fields.
I have training in CBT to address anxiety, depression, OCD, and sports performance concerns.
I incorporate DBT to help clients improve mindfulness, emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness.
I help clients explore attachment style and its impact on current functioning.
I tailor my approaches to the needs of individual clients, incorporating the modalities described on this page in addition to many others.
I offer a space for guidance and encouragement for clients working through difficult life experiences.
