Hello and welcome to therapy! I am so proud of you for being here. It is scary to make this first step to try to find someone who can walk with you on this vulnerable journey and I am so proud of you for being brave enough to do it. Healing can be scary but you are not alone. I am here to help. I have been practicing as a therapist for about 6 years and I love being a therapist because I love helping people learn, grow, and become the best versions of themselves. My specialties are in trauma, anxiety, and ADHD. If you are struggling with any of these and are ready to be brave and start your healing journey, book an appointment with me. I am excited to meet you and accompany you in your journey to a more full and peaceful life.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing following the Intake Form you filled out prior to your first session. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I am passionate about helping people to grow and heal! Nothing brings me more joy than helping people become the best versions of themselves! I believe that the Lord has called me to be a therapist to help others grow in peace though I see non-Christian as well as Christian clients. There's no judgment here and what you say will not affect the way I provide unconditional support and care for you as my client. I love working with populations suffering from anxiety, trauma, and ADHD as the change is very evident and rewarding to see when the goals are achieved.

My treatment methods

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I use this therapy to assist clients in gaining control of their negative thought patters, emotions, and to help them be more present in their daily life. This therapy pairs well with trauma work because it focuses on teaching acceptance for things that are unchangeable and presence to change things in the here and now.

EMDR

I use this therapy as my main tool to treat PTSD. I take a slow approach on starting EMDR typically starting with Supportive Therapy and ACT before working with clients on their trauma. I do this so that the client is able to process trauma smoothly without creating too much distress.

Faith based therapy

I am Christian and will include prayer, spiritual encouragement, and accountability to clients that are Christian and request it.

Supportive

I am here to provide support throughout my work with clients. I am able and willing to listen if a client needs to vent about what is bothering them. I am also able to provide solutions and recourses that may help.
