About me

I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC-MHSP) based in Tennessee specializing in attachment trauma and self-worth. As a strength-based therapist, I believe we are capable of resilience and growth. My experience spans inpatient psychiatric care, university settings, partial hospitalization, and outpatient settings with diverse individuals, families, and groups. Through this, I have witnessed firsthand the courage it takes to heal and the power of a safe therapeutic space.

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session together, we'll start with brief intros then dive into specific challenges you're facing. We'll discuss your goals and desired outcomes from therapy and collaborate to create a personalized plan that supports your goals.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

Using EMDR, Brainspotting, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, and other strategies, we’ll work together to process painful memories, shift limiting beliefs, and cultivate a stronger sense of self.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

Feeling stuck, anxious, or disconnected? Maybe you're struggling with self-doubt, repeating unhealthy relationship patterns, or carrying the weight of past wounds. If you've experienced childhood abandonment, neglect, rejection, or shaming - trust and vulnerability might feel overwhelming. You may find yourself drawn to chaotic or codependent relationships—or avoiding connection altogether. If this resonates, know that healing is possible. I specialize in helping adults heal from attachment trauma, rebuild self-worth, and break free from patterns that no longer serve them.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

Addressing triggers and modifying behaviors begins with noticing and observing your experience - a simple tenant of mindfulness. From group therapy to individual therapy, I've applied mindfulness to support anxiety relief, self-compassion, and emotion regulation skills.

Brainspotting

Brainspotting is a powerful approach that uses a mind-body approach to process trauma and promote healing. This approach highlights body sensations and emotions to access and process traumatic memories.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

A Solution-Focused approach may be helpful for those seeking practical tools that can be applied for problem solving and behavioral changes. Solution-Focused Therapy also highlights your strengths and resources towards healing. This approach is strengths-based and empowering!

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Sometimes, our thought patterns contribute to upsetting emotions and unhelpful behaviors. CBT addresses the relationship between beliefs, emotions, and behavior to promote more helpful thought patterns and behaviors.

EMDR

EMDR is helpful for resolving complex trauma, anxiety, depression, and more.
