Hello! My name is Susan (Sue). I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Florida and a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Georgia. I have worked as a licensed therapist for the last 25 years. I have a Master's Degree of Education (M.Ed.) in mental health counseling. Treatment experience has included crisis intervention, trauma related issues, mood disorders, anxiety, grief/loss, stress management, anger management and treatment of the chronically and seriously mentally ill.
Clients can expect to learn about me, to learn what therapy looks like, to learn about Informed Consent, to begin building trust and establishing a relationship. In addition, we will begin the assessment process and the client will be able to get answers to any questions they may have. Therapy itself will include building a trusting relationship, gaining new perspective, sometimes feeling unsure and even challenged, seeing and feeling improvement, setting goals and developing tools for coping.

My listening skills and ability to support clients while challenging them to grow. Using various techniques and helping clients build a tool box of strategies to help them throughout their life journey.
