New to Grow
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I like to bring a positive energy to each session and outlook to situations. I create a very nonjudgmental space where you are able to be open and share and be in the moment. I am very sensitive to everyone's different cultures and unique life experiences and I would love to help you with your journey of growth and healing.
Our first session will be us getting to know each other and finding out what brought you to therapy. I want to make sure that I am going to be able to assist you in making these changes and making sure I am the right fit for you. I know the first session can be overwhelming and I want to help ease that and make it as reassuring as possible. I want our time together to be beneficial for you and your growth towards the person you want to become.
I am always going to bring a warm and caring environment to the and I want to make sure that our sessions are centered around the goals that we have set up together. Every person is different so how your session will be structured will be based around your needs which we will discuss. If you need more of a listening approach from me and then I respond once you get your thoughts out. I can also push back and challenge thoughts if needed. Each session may look different depending on what needs to be addressed in that session.
I work well with clients who are looking for someone who is very upbeat and cheerful because I will bring that to our sessions. I work with clients from all walks of life who are working through anxiety, depression, and other mental health issues. I want someone who has a collaboration mindset due to wanting to make sure we are always working towards your best self.

I identify as
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy which can help with relieving anxiety and depression symptoms by addressing the connection between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors by identifying and challenging distorted thinking patterns. CBT does this by replacing those distorted thoughts with more balanced and realistic thoughts which can reduce feelings of fear and hopelessness and can be utilized in everyday life.
