Hello, I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who has been licensed in the state of Georgia for over 6 years. I also hold licenses in the states of Connecticut, Vermont, and Delaware. In addition, I have Telehealth privileges to practice in the states of South Carolina and Florida. I have over 19 years of experience within the helping field stemming from working in outpatient and mental health facilities, along with community-based practices. My theoretical orientation is Cognitive Behavior Therapy as I will strive to help others become aware of maladaptive behaviors while also developing coping skills to minimize symptoms. In addition, I am well versed in utilizing DBT, ACT, trauma focused, and strength-based practices.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

I will validate your feelings through active and reflective listening while providing feedback that is both encouraging and non-judgmental. I will foster a safe environment for you to openly discuss your concerns.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I believe that my years of experience have aided me in developing an empathic and compassionate demeanor that gives clients a sense of confidence. I strive to foster a safe and nurturing environment conducive to you becoming a healthier "you" by validation of your thoughts, feelings, and concerns. I aim to minimize the presence of stressors, negative thought processes, and other maladaptive behaviors that are causing a disturbance within your overall well-being.
