Hello! My name is Katie. I want to help you embrace your best self. I am here to work with you and travel on a journey of healing and self-discovery. I am so excited to take this journey with you and help you find what's missing or what's needed to thrive in your life. Whether this means you're facing anxiety, dealing with addiction, struggling with interpersonal relationships, I am here to get to the root of the problem utilizing multiple modalities including CBT, DBT, mindfulness, motivation interviewing and whatever else it might take to get you on the road to wellness. While this is my opportunity to speak to you, I assure you that this is where the listening starts for you and the work begins as we will build your foundations of mental health brick by brick, together.
When walking away from a session with me, we focus on making sure my client feels validated and supported. I also emphasize a problem-solving approach by providing coping skills, techniques to manage their emotions, psychoeducation, and resources.
