I will meet you where you are, offer a safe, non-judgmental space for you to explore what is creating your stress. We will work together to identify your unique needs, determine individualized goals, and work strategically to meet them.
What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?
During our first session together, we will start to get acquainted as I gather some information regarding the challenges you are facing. This helps me to gain an understanding of your situation as well as your desired outcomes.

As a former client of therapy myself, I am able to empathize and can appreciate the challenges you are facing. This along with my training as a therapist equips me with the knowledge and strategies to help you to reach your full potential.

I have used this treatment modality successfully with a number of clients and encourage clients to apply the skills learned in their everyday lives to transform their thoughts and perspectives.
Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
I have utilized the components of DBT (Mindfulness, Distress Tolerance, Emotion Regulation and Interpersonal Effectiveness) with the majority of my clients as I find the skills to be useful in all walks of life. I will use part or all of these components depending on the needs of the client.

I use the person-centered approach with all of my clients as it is a must to meet the client where they are and consider them the expert of their experience.

I utilize Motivational Interviewing with all of my clients as I find it an integral part to determine what the client values and the direction they want their lives to go.
