I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor working with teens and adults navigating anxiety, depression, adjustment challenges, and addiction. I take a direct but supportive approach, helping you understand your negative patterns, develop practical coping skills, and build enduring confidence. Through telehealth sessions, I provide a safe, compassionate space to explore challenges, manage stress, and make meaningful, lasting changes in your life.

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we will talk about what brings you into therapy, what may have worked in the past, and what your priorities are for treatment. We'll set some goals and decide together how best to work on them.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I believe that the client is in the driver's seat of their care. You do the work of making change and I'm here to support that journey. We will work together on building those coping skills and reteaching the brain how to react when the thoughts are not useful or conducive to achieving your goals.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal client are individuals who are high-performing and/or high functioning but struggling with transitions, anxiety, or substance use. They are high school AP students, professionals, or perfectionists. They feel pressured to be the best and seem ok on the outside but they are struggling to keep it all together. My clients won't want someone who will just sit back and agree with everything they say, but will be comfortable with a nudge to change the things that brought them into therapy.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

My practice centers on CBT — an evidence-based approach that teaches practical coping skills, challenges the negative thought patterns driving distress, and helps create new neural pathways so lasting change becomes possible

Motivational Interviewing

I incorporate Motivational Interviewing to honor each client's readiness for change. What is often labeled as 'resistance' is more accurately understood as a mismatch between the pace of therapy and where the client actually is — and my role is to close that gap.
