PMHNP, 8 years of experience
Hello, and welcome to my practice, Summit Ridge Psychiatry. Please see my website for more info - www.summitridgepsychiatry.com. To learn more about me and how I will approach your care, please check out the About page - www.summitridgepsychiatry.com/about. For out-of-pocket or cash-pay appointments, please read the bottom section regarding appointment cost. Thank you and I hope to meet you soon!
From the beginning, I hope to create a calming and welcoming environment for you to share. I know that many mental health topics can be difficult to discuss. I want to put your mind at ease so that you can let me know how I can come along side you and help you. In our first session, I will gather a history of your mental health, with a focus on current problem areas, but also any pertinent information regarding past experiences, especially treatments that have and have not helped. We will then come to a treatment plan together. I will tailor your care to your individuality and preferences in order to give you the best remedies backed by evidence-based practice.
Evidence-based mental health medications and therapeutic communication
I try to connect with each of my clients on a personal level, by seeking to understand and empathize. I want those that come to me for help to know that I care about their well-being. Appointment Cost ------------------------- For clients paying out-of-pocket, Grow Therapy's site is not setup to allow a separate price to be listed for initial visits and follow-up visits. For initial new patient appointments, the out-of-pocket cash price will be $275 for the first visit. For follow-up visits, the price is $175. Sorry for the confusion.
I enjoy helping everyone. I feel best equipped to help those who have either never had mental health treatment, or have had a negative experience. I understand that talking about areas of mental health need can be difficult, especially to someone unfamiliar. I want to help you feel comfortable asking for help.

I have been seeing Dean since 2018 and even when he changed his location, I followed. He's not just a care provider, he's my friend. Every 2 months that we talk, it's like catching up with an old buddy. If I could post a Fast and Furious "family" meme, I would. All jokes aside, when I was feeling down, instead of prescribing me random things, he just talked to me and thats all that I needed. He's not a therapist but that was enough and after talking for 7 years, I trust him 100%, so should you.
