New to Grow
Hi, I’m Dominique Caddell, a Licensed Professional Counselor dedicated to helping children, adolescents, and adults navigate life’s challenges. I have experience working with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship concerns, behavioral issues, and life transitions. My approach is warm, supportive, and collaborative, creating a safe space where clients can build coping skills, gain insight, and work toward meaningful change. I believe in meeting clients where they are and tailoring treatment to their unique needs, strengths, and goals.
During your first session, we’ll spend time getting to know one another and discussing what brings you to therapy. I’ll ask questions about your current concerns, personal history, strengths, and goals so I can better understand your unique situation. This session is also an opportunity for you to ask questions, share any concerns about the therapy process, and begin developing a plan for treatment. My goal is to create a comfortable, supportive environment where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to begin your journey toward positive change.
What stands out about my therapeutic approach is my ability to balance compassion with practical, evidence-based strategies. I take a collaborative, strengths-based, and trauma-informed approach, tailoring treatment to each client’s unique needs and goals. Drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and other evidence-based interventions, I help clients develop insight, build effective coping skills, improve relationships, and create meaningful, lasting change. My goal is to provide a supportive environment where clients feel understood, empowered, and equipped to navigate life’s challenges with greater confidence and resilience.
I am best positioned to serve children, adolescents, and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, behavioral concerns, emotional regulation difficulties, and life transitions. My experience includes working with individuals and families impacted by foster care involvement, attachment concerns, ADHD, and disruptive behaviors. I enjoy helping clients improve communication, strengthen relationships, develop healthy coping skills, and process difficult life experiences. I work well with clients who are motivated to better understand themselves, overcome obstacles, and create positive change in their lives. My approach is collaborative, strengths-based, trauma-informed, and tailored to each client’s unique needs, goals, and circumstances.

I identify as
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors and understand how these patterns impact their daily functioning. I work collaboratively with clients to recognize and challenge unhelpful thinking patterns, develop healthier perspectives, and build effective coping strategies. With children and adolescents, I adapt CBT techniques through age-appropriate activities, skill-building exercises, and behavioral interventions to improve emotional regulation, problem-solving, and behavioral functioning. With adults, I use CBT to address concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma-related symptoms, stress, relationship difficulties, and life transitions by promoting insight, behavioral change, and practical coping skills that can be applied outside of therapy sessions.
