I am a licensed Professional Counselor with over twenty years of experience. My passion for counseling is influenced by my motivation to help others. Besides my passion for counseling, I have volunteered for various worthy causes. I am licensed in the District of Columbia and Maryland. Clients can expect during the first session to work with a genuine person who will listen, answer all questions, work to strengthen the therapeutic alliance through client centered approaches and techniques. The focus will be to focus on your strengths and resiliency. The goals is to allow client's to lead their therapeutic journey while making them feel comfortable, safe and supported.

The therapist greatest strengths are active listening skills and empathy. Also my experience with treating various disorders.

Family Therapy

The focus of family therapy is to help the members to better understand each other and support each other.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

The emphasis is the client first and the focus is that the client can solve their own problems.
