(she/her)
I am a compassionate and dedicated therapist with years of experience supporting individuals through life’s challenges, including trauma, anxiety, and relationship issues. My approach is collaborative, warm, and client-centered, focusing on creating a safe space where you feel truly heard and understood. I am passionate about helping people discover their strengths, build resilience, and achieve meaningful, lasting change in their lives.
In our first session, I will take time to get to know you, understand your concerns, and learn about your goals for therapy. We will discuss what brings you to therapy, explore your strengths, and begin to develop a plan that feels comfortable and supportive. You can expect a warm, nonjudgmental space where you are heard and respected.
My greatest strengths include my ability to integrate diverse therapeutic approaches, such as Brainspotting, Compassion Focused Therapy, Polyvagal Therapy, and CBT, to meet each client’s unique needs. I am skilled at creating a safe and empathetic environment, helping clients feel understood and empowered to make meaningful changes in their lives.
I am best positioned to serve individuals who are seeking to heal from trauma, manage anxiety or depression, develop healthier relationships, or cultivate greater self-acceptance. My ideal clients are open to exploring new perspectives, committed to personal growth, and ready to engage in a supportive therapeutic process.
Brainspotting
I am trained in Brainspotting, a trauma processing modality that helps clients access, process, and release emotional and physical pain stored in the body. In my practice, I use Brainspotting to create a safe space for clients to focus on specific eye positions that correlate with distressing memories or sensations. This technique allows for deep healing and helps clients move through trauma at their own pace.
Compassion Focused
I utilize Compassion Focused Therapy to help clients cultivate self-compassion and reduce self-criticism. In my practice, I guide clients through exercises and discussions that encourage kindness toward themselves, especially when facing difficult emotions or life challenges. This approach supports emotional healing and fosters a sense of safety and acceptance.
Polyvagal Therapy
I incorporate Polyvagal Therapy to help clients understand and regulate their nervous system responses. By teaching clients about the connection between their body and emotional experiences, I support them in developing tools to manage stress, anxiety, and trauma. This approach empowers clients to create greater emotional resilience and a sense of calm in their lives.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I have extensive experience using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help clients identify and change patterns of thinking and behavior that contribute to emotional distress. In my practice, I work collaboratively with clients to set goals, develop coping strategies, and challenge unhelpful beliefs. CBT is an evidence-based approach that supports lasting change and improved well-being.
Eclectic
I believe that meeting clients where they are is one of the most effective approaches to addressing any issue in someone's life. My practice is eclectic, meaning I draw from a variety of therapeutic modalities and tailor my approach to each individual's unique needs, preferences, and goals. This flexibility allows me to provide personalized care and support for a wide range of concerns.
