Trauma Informed Care

Trauma Informed Care is an awareness of how trauma impacts all aspects of one's life. Trauma therapy recognizes the presence of trauma signs and symptoms and acknowledges the role that trauma may presently play and may have played in an individual's life. The goal of trauma therapy is to allow someone to process their feelings and emotions connected to the traumatizing event and to no longer allow the event to adversely impact or affect one's daily life. Trauma recovery is believed to occur in (3) main stages: safety and stabilization; remembrance and mourning; and reconnection and integration. EMDR techniques utilized to address trauma.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Explore the connection between our thoughts (cognitions), behavior and emotions. Learn how to slow this process down to manage symptoms of PTSD, depression, anxiety.

Trauma-Focused CBT

Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) is designed to help individuals process and heal from traumatic experiences. This approach combines cognitive-behavioral techniques with trauma-sensitive principles to address the impact of trauma on your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Through TF-CBT, we work together to understand and reframe distressing thoughts, develop coping skills, and gradually confront and resolve the trauma, all while ensuring a supportive and safe therapeutic environment.

Eclectic

Eclectic Therapy is an approach that draws on multiple and the most relevant theoretical orientations, techniques, and evidence-based treatment modalities to formulate a tailored and individualized treatment plan.
