Welcome! My name is Brittany Green and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor (LPC-S) in the state of Texas. I have been counseling for over seven years and have loads of mental health experience prior to licensure. I have worked inpatient hospital settings, outpatient such as intensive out patient (IOP), private practice, group counseling...you name it! All of which have aided in how I approach therapy. I believe it should be individualized and diverse for each client. I am collaborative in session and I bring my personality, which is caring above all else. I see clients ages 10 and up and I use a variety of theoretical orientations dependent upon the individuals needs. I work with individuals, couples, families and communities such as lgbtqia+. I have several years of experience working through anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, and teen issues. I look forward to being a guide on your journey and hope to meet you soon!
At the completion of your first session, as we schedule a follow up, I hope that you feel seen and understood on a level that resonates with you to give therapy an honest chance.
I typically use methods according to the individual. That are all ethically and statistically sound to treat your issue.
My biggest strengths stretch farther than my education and expertise, in that I genuinely care and take your issues seriously. I desire to help and I am great at identifying patterns of behavior that may hinder growth and I teach individuals self-awareness and how to truly make change occur when needed and the small steps and goals needed to achieve personal goals.
My ideal client and whom I feel that I would best serve are individuals with a level of introspection and desire to change that compels them to seek therapy.
