I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in North Carolina. I have over 14 years of experience in the mental health field, and I have worked as a clinician, clinical supervisor and school counselor. I work well with people of all ages and backgrounds. I provide individual, group and family therapy to children, adolescents and adults. My theoretical approaches include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing and Solution Focused Therapy; however, adjustments and approaches are made to tailor to the needs of each client.
It’s my desire that each client leaves my office feeling heard and seen. I believe that therapy is 50% the work you put in and 50% the relationship you have with your therapist. I will spend time getting to know you and also allowing you to see my style.
I pride myself in offering a safe and nonjudgmental environment for growth and healing. Clients should know that therapy is a partnership and they are not in this alone.
The perfect client allows me to meet them where they are and work with them to strengthen their mental health. Ther perfect client understands that my job is not fix them, but to offer different perspective to help you grow. Like making any other major lifestyle change, therapy can be tough and require hard work and consistency. Clients are who are able to put in some work and meet me at least halfway will see the most results.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I once read that, “Strength does not come from what you can do. It comes from overcoming things that you thought you couldn’t.” Cognitive Behavioral Therapy allows you to change your thought patterns which in return will allow you to change the things you say, the way you feel and eventually the things you do!
