New to Grow
I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who helps people untangle the thoughts, feelings, and patterns that keep them feeling stuck. I work with clients navigating the lasting effects of past experiences, anxiety, relationship challenges, and life transitions, using a mix of practical tools and deeper emotional work. My style is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in the belief that healing happens best in a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space.
In our first session, we’ll simply start getting to know each other. You can share as much or as little as you’d like about what’s been going on, and we’ll talk about what you hope to get from therapy. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, supported, and a little lighter knowing we have a plan forward.
I blend trauma-informed care, CBT, emotionally focused work, and strength-based approaches to meet your needs in the moments you need them most. Clients value the safe, non-judgmental space I create and the balance of practical tools with deeper emotional work that fosters lasting change.
I work best with individuals who are ready to better understand themselves and create meaningful change in their lives. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or disconnected—from themselves, from others, or from the life they want to be living. Some are navigating the effects of past experiences that continue to impact their confidence, relationships, or sense of safety. Others are seeking clarity in a major life transition or wanting to break free from patterns that no longer serve them. My ideal clients are open to exploring both practical tools and deeper emotional work, and value a collaborative, supportive relationship as we work toward their goals.
I understand that trauma—whether it’s the “big” events we commonly recognize or the quieter, “little” moments that accumulate over time—can have lasting effects on how we think, feel, and connect with others. I work to create a space where you feel safe, seen, and in control of your own pace. My focus is on helping you explore these experiences without re-traumatization, building trust and resilience along the way.
EFT allows us to explore the emotions driving your experiences and relationships. I use this approach to help you understand and work through emotional blocks, strengthen your connection to yourself, and create healthier patterns in your relationships. It’s a process that brings clarity and compassion to the feelings that may have felt overwhelming or hard to name.
CBT helps us look closely at the patterns between your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. I use it to guide you in identifying unhelpful thinking habits and replacing them with more balanced perspectives. Together, we’ll practice tools you can use in daily life to manage stress, reduce anxiety, and create meaningful change.
No matter what brings you to therapy, I believe you already have strengths, skills, and resources within you. My role is to help you uncover and build on them. By focusing on what’s working, we can amplify your resilience, increase your confidence, and help you feel more empowered to navigate challenges.
