For over twenty years, I have worked with adolescents and adults, helping them to examine and better understand how life's challenges and events impact them, causing symptoms of depression, trauma, anxiety, and others. Together, we develop a therapeutic relationship to explore, learn, and practice ways to manage emotions and maladaptive behaviors and to reframe and resolve the issues that challenge you.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we will discuss why you seek therapy, what changes you want to see, and begin to establish the goals and objectives to reach them. We will also discuss expectations and policies that will facilitate our therapeutic relationship and the changes you want to see.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My approach is client-centered, respectful, empathic and judgement-free. I am warm, transparent and straight-forward. You can be yourself and feel free to come as you are while we explore where you want to be and how you can get there.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

Are you ready to make a change in your life? Let's explore the history and circumstances that bring you to therapy, where we can examine the perspectives and mindsets that have you feeling stuck and make the changes necessary to cultivate and release you to live the life you want.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Using CBT, we explore your thought processes and how they can impact your behaviors. Once we understand these patterns, we can begin developing coping strategies to develop new, more adaptive coping strategies.

Trauma Informed Care

Guided by principles of Trauma Informed Care, we will develop a therapeutic relationship rooted in safety, transparency, trust, and collaboration. We will explore how trauma has manifested for you while developing strategies to counter and prevent re-traumatization.
