Life for children , adolescents and young adults can present with many unique challenges. My job as a therapist is to assist with those developmental concerns rather it’s school stress, feelings of depression and anxiety , bullying or self esteem concerns. I love being able to work with my clients using a variety of evidence based techniques including but not limited to play therapy , music therapy, art therapy, cbt and client centered approaches. I want to empower my clients to not only find their voice but to be able to handle any challenges life throws their way as they grow. I look forward to working with you!

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

During the first two sessions , I’ll spend time getting to know you and building a therapeutic relationship. I want to ensure our therapy process is significant to your needs and goals. The following sessions will focus on building communication and learning coping skills to utilize in varies environments.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

We will utilize handouts and work sheets during our time via telehealth to assist with a better understanding of information . We will also be able to incorporate aspects of music therapy and art therapy using basic supplies to ensure our time spent is not only focused on learning skills but enjoying the therapeutic process as well .

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Being able to work with a specialized population focusing on the issues and concerns that affect them in today’s society presents with its own unique challenges. It is important to only feel safe in therapy but be able to work with a therapist who is able to relate on varies levels. Building rapport is the most important part of therapy and it is crucial to me that, that part of the puzzle is created before filling in the rest.
