Hello! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker licensed in both Texas and Louisiana. I received my master’s in social work (clinical and mental health) from the University of Houston; my second master’s in clinical psychology from Walden University. I have been in the Helping Profession for 17 years. I help tweens, adolescents, young adults, and adults struggling with questions, thoughts, and behaviors they don’t understand and want some help unraveling their challenges.
In our first session together, I’ll start with a brief introduction, describe who I am and why and then allow you to tell me a little about yourself and why you are seeking help. We will discuss the specific reason(s) you are seeking help, your expectations, from me and I will give you my response to how I can help. We will develop a trusting rapport and build from there.
I have 17 years of clinical experience in the “Helping Profession.” I have worked with young children as early as the age of 3, and seniors at the young age of 75. I have helped unravel problems of mental health, physical health, and various social issues. My expertise is offered professionally, in a safe, nonjudgmental space. You can trust that I am honored to help and will do everything in my power to help you.
I love working with the tweens, adolescents, and young adults because I believe they are the future and if I can help them unravel their challenges early, the earlier, the healthier they will be. The adults and seniors are also on my radar. Having grown up as an only child, there are issues that I’ve had to unravel, without the help of a professional until I was much older, i.e., an adult. Now that I know and understand the value of unraveling my challenges, I am in a wonderful position to assist the adults and seniors unravel their challenges. In short, it is my honor to help everyone and anyone who is seeking professional help.
