(she/her)
As a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with numerous years of dedicated experience, I am deeply committed to providing compassionate and comprehensive mental health care to individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, PTSD, and various thought and mood disorders. My passion lies in helping my patients achieve mental well-being and regain control of their lives. Professional Expertise: Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working with diverse populations across various settings, including psychiatric clinics, hospitals, and private practices. This extensive exposure has equipped me with a broad understanding of the complexities and nuances of mental health conditions. My expertise extends to the diagnosis, treatment, and management of various psychiatric disorders, ranging from common mood disorders to more complex thought disorders.
Your first session is all about getting to know you. I’ll spend time listening to your story—what brings you in, what you’ve been struggling with, and what goals you’d like to work toward. There’s no pressure to share everything at once; we’ll move at a pace that feels comfortable for you. We’ll talk about your mental health history, current concerns, and any past treatments or strategies you’ve tried. This helps me get a full picture so we can create a plan that’s tailored to you. If medication management is part of your care, we’ll also go over options and make sure you feel informed and involved in every step. By the end of the session, you can expect to have a clearer idea of what working together will look like, including next steps and treatment goals. My priority is to make sure you leave feeling heard, supported, and hopeful about the path forward.
Continuing Education and Advocacy: Staying abreast of the latest developments in psychiatric research and treatment modalities is essential in my practice. I actively engage in ongoing professional development and attend conferences and workshops to provide my patients with the most current and evidence-based care available. Furthermore, I am a staunch advocate for mental health awareness, seeking to reduce stigma and improve access to mental health services for all. A Commitment to Compassion and Empathy: Above all, I value the importance of compassion and empathy in fostering a therapeutic alliance with my patients. I understand that seeking help for mental health concerns can be daunting, and I strive to create a safe and non-judgmental environment where my patients can openly share their thoughts and emotions. Together Towards Healing: I firmly believe that recovery is achievable with the right support and interventions. As a PMHNP-BC, I am honored to walk alongside my patients on their journey towards healing, growth, and a brighter future.
I work best with people who are ready to make meaningful changes in their mental health and everyday life. Many of my clients come to me because they’re feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, weighed down by depression, or struggling to focus with ADHD. Others are navigating big life transitions—like changes in relationships, career shifts, or moving to a new place—and need support in finding balance again. I also specialize in helping those in addiction recovery who are working to stay on track and rebuild their confidence, one step at a time. If you’re someone who’s open to exploring new perspectives, ready to collaborate on your care, and interested in lasting results (not just quick fixes), we’ll likely work really well together. My approach blends medical expertise with practical, down-to-earth strategies to help you feel more grounded, supported, and empowered in your journey forward
