Dr. Bridgenett James-Barrie, DSW
It is a pleasure to meet you! You can call me Dr. Bridget, and I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I’ve been practicing for over a decade and enjoy helping my clients reach a place where they can thrive and enjoy life. I provide Christian Counseling, Family & Marital Counseling, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and specialize in women's health (aged 18-64 and 65+). I enjoy helping women experiencing work-life balance concerns, challenges in their relationships, creating and maintaining boundaries, depression, low self-esteem, anxiety, and adjusting to life transitions. Additionally, my clinical expertise includes supporting couples and families through divorce, infidelity, strengthening communication, navigating relational challenges, managing stress, and managing family conflict. My goal is to create a space where you feel heard, safe, and supported. Outside of counseling, I am a wife, mother, and grandmother. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, going to the gym, and fellowshipping at church. I enjoy decorating, especially for the holidays, cooking, and watching funny YouTube videos of cats and dogs. My day starts with prayer, yoga, and sipping my morning coffee. I am looking forward to working with you and witnessing your growth.
