(she/her)
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. I have been practicing in MA for 16 years. In addition, I have many years of life experience prior to getting my Master’s degree. I am able to draw on my varied experiences to assist clients. I enjoy helping adults navigate the many challenges of life, whether it be changing careers, working on relationship issues, or dealing with a loss of a loved one. I find that clients often have the answers within them, but may need a guide to help them discover them.
The first session focuses on me getting to know you a bit and then talking about what it is that brings you to therapy. I want you to feel at ease and to go at your own pace, especially when it comes to disclosing your struggles.
I pride myself on being non-judgemental and compassionate, as well as a very good problem-solver.
I like to work with adults of all ages, , especially those dealing with life transitions such as starting or ending a career or navigating problems in a relationship.

Strength-Based
First and foremost I identify and focus on a client’s strengths, Clients do not always recognize their own qualities that they can bring to bear in working on their issues .
Eclectic
I describe my approach to treatment as eclectic, adapting to the needs of the client . For example, althougn I am not one who uses CBT exclusively, I do use aspects of this approach when patterns of negative thinking are impacting the client’s mental health . It is especially helpful in managing anxiety.
