Hi! I’m a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) based in Massachusetts. I’ve worked in the field for 20 years providing counseling services for individuals, couples, and families. Using an integrative approach, I help individuals looking to build upon their strengths to improve coping skills, better their relationships, and create lasting change. My approach is based in neuroscience while also being rooted in connection.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, we will start with brief introductions, gather some background information, and begin to focus on what brings you to therapy and what you hope to gain from sessions moving forward. Clients will have the opportunity to ask any questions they may have about the therapy experience.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

As a clinician, I ensure that I am learning from the latest neuroscience on strategies that help to regulate our nervous system. With experience in a variety of interventions, we will work together to determine the best strategies for you to achieve your goals.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I love working with young adults and adults who may be feeling stuck or unsatisfied with an aspect of their life but are unsure where to begin in order for things to change. My clients are looking for a more holistic approach to make real and lasting change. I also love working with parents on helping to navigate all the joys and chaos of parenthood. My clients raising neurodiverse children are looking for understanding, acceptance, and paths forward that they may not be finding in traditional parenting approaches.

My treatment methods

Child Parent Psychotherapy

Child Parent Psychotherapy (CPP) helps parents and children build stronger, healthier relationships by addressing any emotional struggles or trauma. It focuses on improving communication and understanding between you and your child to help both of you feel more connected and supported.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) helps you identify and change negative thought patterns that affect your emotions and behaviors. By learning new ways to think and react, you can improve how you feel and handle challenges in your daily life.

Integrative

An integrative approach to therapy combines different techniques and methods from various therapies to fit your unique needs. It focuses on treating you as a whole person—mind, body, and emotions—helping you find the best ways to heal and grow.

Mind-body approach

Mind-body therapy focuses on the connection between your thoughts, emotions, and physical well-being. It helps you use techniques like relaxation, breathing exercises, and movement to reduce stress, manage emotions, and improve your overall health.

Polyvagal Therapy

Polyvagal Therapy focuses on how your body's nervous system affects your feelings and reactions. It helps you learn to calm your body’s stress response and feel more grounded and safe by using techniques that engage the nervous system to promote healing and relaxation.
