Hi, I'm Autumn Stanley, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida and Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Oregon who works with adolescents, adults, and caregivers navigating anxiety, stress, life transitions, emotional overwhelm, and neurodivergent experiences. I believe therapy should be a place where you feel genuinely seen, supported, and understood. My approach is warm, collaborative, and tailored to your unique needs, helping you build practical tools while developing a deeper understanding of yourself and your relationships.
Starting therapy can feel intimidating, so my goal is to create a space where you can settle in at your own pace. During our first session, we'll talk about what brings you to therapy, the challenges you're currently facing, and what you hope might be different in your life moving forward. I'll also spend time getting to know your strengths, supports, and experiences so we can begin building a plan that feels meaningful and realistic for you. There is no pressure to have everything figured out, we'll start where you are.
I take a regulation-focused, relationship-centered approach to therapy. Rather than focusing only on symptoms, I help clients understand the connection between their emotions, nervous system, relationships, and daily experiences. I believe lasting growth happens when people feel safe, supported, and understood, so I prioritize creating a therapeutic environment where change can happen naturally rather than through pressure or judgment. My work is neurodiversity-affirming, collaborative, and grounded in practical strategies that clients can use in everyday life.
