My practice involves providing services in clinics, forensic hospitals, correctional Institutions, as well as private ceremonial retreats abroad. In regards to evaluations, my expertise involves psychological, neuropsychological, competency-to-stand-trial, and related risk assessments. In regards to treatment, utilizing a holistic approach, I provide preparation, immersion and integration therapy in legitimate Ketamine clinics in Florida, while also fuse a trilogy of behavioral science, indigenous medicine and Torah-based shamanism where appropriate by law.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Upon our first session we will explore your background in various personal, interpersonal and occupational dimensions. We will explore factors and reasons that brought you to this point, particularly identifying what it is and why you chose to seek the the help or guidance of a psychologist and the services I provide. Together, we will then embark on generating achievable attainable goals for the immediate short and long term future in our collaborative work together.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Self-actualization lies in our ability to accept and to commit whole-heartedly to our immediate circumstances in the here and now within all the dimensions of our lives. Maintaining a deeply honest, sincere and genuine sense of self while increasingly developing insight and awareness of who we are in relation to ourselves and others dictates the quality of the very reality in which we live. Generating compassion toward ourselves and others, generating meaning and purpose for all those things that make up the story of our lives, and generating skill in empathic understanding, validation and communication with ourselves and with all those around us, is key to sustainable happiness and self-transformation.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is the most researched evidence-based treatment that is applicable to all psychopathology where cognition and behavior are concerned. That is because CBT focuses on what makes us human beings, that is, how we are primarily information-processing creatures who interact, interpret, and react to the world around and inside us. The focus is on cognition, that is, the thoughts we have about basically everything and all the complex constructs and paradigms that we form about those things throughout the course of our lives. CBT asserts that all of our behaviors, (that is, the way we interact with ourselves, others, and everything in between), result from the ideas we have about them, energized by the intensity of the feelings we have regarding them.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

Mindfulness developed out of Eastern practices, and in the West has become the staple therapeutic model that focuses on the conscious awareness of the present moment in the here and now. The best way to describe Mindfulness practice is to be fully attentive to the present moment, and open to experience free of judgment or evaluation. It is an evidence-based treatment that with consistent daily application and practice has seen remarkable success with even the most severe psychopathology.

Psychodynamic

Psychodynamic therapy is especially powerful and applicable when combined with CBT, a fusion that developed into what is known as Schema therapy. The emphasis is on the complex construct of thoughts, feelings and behaviors (CBT) which over the course of our lives shape our personality represented by those defense mechanisms we use as a means to cope with our environment. The therapeutic process facilitates insight into the way we operate in personal, social and occupational domains, becoming tangible mechanisms we target and treat in the course of therapy.
