PMHNP, 1 years of experience
Are you feeling easily frustrated, overwhelmed, and stressed out? Are you feeling stuck? Are you experiencing mental health difficulties that are preventing you from moving forward in your life? Is this causing issues in your relationships, your work, your physical health, or your ability to keep up with self-care? Well, I’m here to guide you on your journey to a deeper sense of fulfillment and improved mental well-being. I provide medication management for mental health disorders for adults only via telehealth services. In addition to medication, I also believe it’s important to consider how nutrition, exercise, sleeping habits, your thoughts and coping mechanisms are best supporting you. We will work to identify what you’d like to accomplish with treatment and determine the best options for getting you there.
In our first 60-minute initial evaluation, we will discuss your current psychiatric symptoms, past psychiatric history, social history, medical history and past/ current medication regimen. The initial comprehensive psychiatric evaluation will aid in the formulation of an accurate mental health diagnosis and assist the provider and client with collaborating on an individualized treatment plan.
My greatest strength as a provider is my patience to listen and create a treatment plan that is effective, and uniquely tailored for your individualized mental health needs. My kindness, patience, and empathetic treatment approach enable me to build positive and lasting therapeutic provider-patient relationships. Remember that your mental health is a priority, so my priority as a provider is to guide you in achieving your optimal mental well-being.
PLEASE NOTE: I do not prescribe controlled substances. This includes stimulants (Adderall, Ritalin, etc.) and benzodiazepines (Xanax, Klonopin, etc.)
As a psychiatric provider, I understand the importance of mental and physical health. I believe that to truly heal oneself, we have to reprogram ourselves cognitively before a physical effect can be made. p. I also use a Psychoeducation approach, which utilizes evidence-based practice interventions to help clients gain more information about their mental healthcare conditions and to learn about available treatment options.
