I provide telehealth medication management for adults 18 and older with depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, PTSD, OCD, ADHD, mood disorders and grief, including during pregnancy and postpartum.
For ADHD and other conditions, I can offer non-stimulant options when appropriate. I take time to listen, answer your questions clearly, and review your options, including the benefits and risks of medication, so that we make decisions together. I am licensed in Arizona, Maryland, New York, Texas and Wyoming, and I am glad to coordinate with your therapist.
First session
Your first visit is 60 minutes and is a conversation about what brings you in. We review your symptoms, history, current medications and goals, talk through your treatment options and the benefits and risks of medication, and make a plan together.
Strengths
I explain your options clearly, including the benefits and risks of each, and make decisions with you rather than for you. I take time to listen, and I am glad to coordinate with your therapist. I am a board-certified psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP-BC).
Ideal clients
My ideal client is an adult, 18 or older, who wants medication management through telehealth and is ready to take part in decisions about their own care. I see clients with depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, PTSD, OCD, ADHD and grief, including during pregnancy and postpartum. Clients may already work with a therapist, and I am glad to coordinate care. I do not prescribe controlled substances.
Treatment methods
Psychoeducation
Psychoeducation means learning about your condition and your treatment. In our visits, I explain your diagnosis, how your medication works, what side effects to watch for, and what you can do between visits to support your health. With your permission, I am glad to include family members or other support people. Understanding your care helps you take part in decisions about it.
