(he/him)
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist providing teletherapy services to clients across the state of California. I earned my Master of Arts Degree in Counseling Psychology from Santa Clara University. I possess over seven years of experiencing working with clients in clinics and schools. I work with teens and adults experiencing depression, anxiety, relationship issues, trauma, grief, work and school-related stress, perfectionism, and life transitions.
In our first session, we will start with reviewing key components of the informed consent paperwork. Next, I will provide space for us to explore your current challenges as well as your historical experiences.
I approach therapy with the belief that you are a unique individual with your own distinct experiences. You are the expert of your life and the source of healing lies within you. I will serve as a partner in your healing journey by providing a safe, nonjudgmental, and supportive environment for us to take a deep dive into the challenges you are experiencing with the mission of gaining insight and addressing the factors creating and maintaining them.
My ideal clients are male-identifying individuals with unhealed attachment wounds who have difficulty experiencing and expressing a full range of emotions. Subsequently, they have suffered in silence and often experience challenges developing deep, intimate connections with others. Additionally I also work with all teens and adults experiencing depression, anxiety, relationship issues, trauma, grief, work and school-related stress, perfectionism, and life transitions.
I have used CBT with clients for the past 5 years. I employ it to treat depression, anxiety, trauma, and other mood disorders.
I have used DBT with clients for the past 4 years. I use DBT to help clients improve emotional regulation, mindfulness, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness.
I have used Person-centered therapy with clients for the past 7 years. Person-centered therapy allows clients to lead exploration and processing of their life experiences.
