I am an individual who strives to show compassion and understanding for each client. I have worked with a variety of clients including military/ veterans, Traumatic Brain Injury issues Life Transitions, Workplace Concerns, Career Development & Anxiety. My own journey has allowed me to have a greater understanding of life’s unexpected challenges. This experience has allowed me to more humble and understanding of my clients. I have also developed creativity and problem solving skills that enhanced the counseling experience
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
The first session will be building rapport. Although, this may look like some paperwork, this process is also a get to know you opportunity. This is also a get to know me.

My down to earth process as well as goal setting are some attributes that stand out. Client centered approach allows the client to be heard.

Christian Counseling
Showing human kindness demonstrates Christian Compassion especially when facing challenges. Embracing the counseling relationship without judgement is important.
EMDR
Trauma impacts many facets of a person’s quality of life. Utilizing different tools for the person’s particular need is providing more options.
Eclectic
One model does not fit every individual. Utilizing and discovering what works for the individual takes building rapport
Mind-body approach
Our bodies talk before our words come out of our mouth. I incorporate mind- body connections into treatment when client is ready to unblock emotions for a potentially better quality of life
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
Discovering thought patterns and belief systems that may not be helpful any longer could be challenging. This process requires patience and understanding as cognitive patterns are realized and possible challenges.
