Rolanda Bradshaw
Hello, I'm Rolanda Bradshaw (She/Her), a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, in practice for over 18 years, who is deeply passionate about mental health. My mission is to empower my clients to reclaim their voices. Drawing from my own experiences of feeling unseen and unheard, I recognize the profound pain it can inflict. This personal insight shapes my role as a therapist, where I aim to serve as a facilitator and partner in your journey of transformation.
First session
Together, we'll work on reconnecting with your emotions, strengthening your sense of self, and learning to regulate your emotions and nervous system. Through our collaboration, you'll gain deeper access to your true self and transition from a place of fear and stagnation to one of vibrant living and empowerment.
Strengths
During our sessions, you can expect me to bring my genuine self, direct communication style, and a sprinkle of humor. I've discovered that this approach helps me connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds who are grappling with pain and feelings of hopelessness.
Ideal clients
I specialize in working with individuals who have faced loss, trauma, or disenfranchisement. I offer a therapeutic approach that incorporates Brainspotting, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailored to meet your individual needs.
Treatment methods
Brainspotting
I have been trained in BSP and am certified. I have been utilizing this treatment approach since 2023. I utilize it to help facilitate processing of grief, trauma, and stuck points.
