Hi! I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and have been in practice for almost 10 years. I work through a trauma informed lens to help individuals resolve traumas of all kinds, whether perceived as insignificant or significant, so they can be set free from their pain and live healthier and happier lives. I am passionate about helping others achieve their best selves and go on to thrive in their lives.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Clients can expect to feel heard and understood, a sense of comfort and confidence that they will get the treatment they are looking for.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I have a unique ability to understand what someone has gone through, the emotions they feel, and the difficult thoughts they have, even if I haven't gone through the exact same situation. The majority of my work with clients over the last 5 years has been trauma based, using EMDR as the primary modality, which has over 30 years of proven efficacy.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

My clients are adults who experience symptoms associated with past or present traumatic situations and who are feeling greatly impacted by these symptoms in their overall functioning within relationships, work, family, and social environments. They are also adults who are generally resourced, are able to function in life, and have a good support system.

My treatment methods

EMDR

I use EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) to help people resolve their traumas and eliminate PTSD related symptoms. I've been trained in EMDR since 2021 and recently certified. If EMDR is not the modality needed for you, I am well versed in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and approach each individual from a person centered perspective, tailoring treatment to the individual's specific and unique needs.
