Hi, I am Beth I am here to help you through your journey of starting or continuing in therapy. Dealing with difficult decisions can be overwhelming. Don't go through it alone. If you are feeling overwhelmed, stressed or anxious having another person to walk through it with you can be helpful. If you are dealing with difficult family, parenting, or relationship issues I am here to help. I look forward to working with you and helping you achieve some goals for yourself.
In our first session, I would like to get to know more about you and what your interests are. This is a great way for me to get a better understanding of you. In the first few sessions, I like to start with setting some goals and deciding what you would like to work on. As we go along we can add and change things that come up for you.
Some of the different treatment methods that I like to focus on are talk therapy with some goal setting, journal writing, role-playing and visualization.
I have worked with a variety of individuals and families over the years. One of my areas of strength is helping individuals identify goals and working through anxiety and depression challenges. I have been helping for many years families of children with special needs navigate the challenges of parenting. I have special knowledge of maternal mental health.
