Are you having a hard time quieting the negative thoughts in your head? Are you struggling to keep up with everything in your life? Do you feel trapped by painful memories or experiences? Whatever it is that you’re dealing with, the fact that you landed on this page means you’ve already taken an important step to begin learning how to manage what life has thrown at you and to create a life worth living. I received my Master’s in Social Work from West Chester University at their Philadelphia Campus. My areas of expertise include depression, anxiety, OCD, trauma, and relationship difficulties. I'm passionate about working with adolescents and young adults in the LGBTQ community and am experienced with supporting individuals on the gender spectrum. I have experience working with children, adolescents, and young adults in various treatment settings, including inpatient, outpatient, and within the public school system. I am also experienced in working with individuals who have experienced intimate partner violence. I was driven to become a clinical social worker because of my own personal journey with therapy, in which I discovered how life-changing and essential it can be. I bring the knowledge and understanding of what it’s like to begin something new and scary but also realize that everyone’s story is unique. I am here to meet you where you’re at and together we’ll figure out what the next step in your journey will be. I am excited to get to know you! In my free time, I enjoy building Lego with my wife, playing with my cats, and spending time outside.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

The treatment methods I will use are individualized to each client’s needs. I believe that each client can benefit from different approaches at various times throughout treatment. Some of the methods I may use are rooted in CBT, DBT, TF-CBT, ERP, ACT, along with traditional talk therapy. I also find that using creative approaches, such as art and music, to explore thoughts and feelings can be beneficial and enjoyable.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I believe that my biggest strength is creating a safe and understanding place in which individuals can open up and share their most vulnerable parts.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

Teens, young adults, and individuals that are in the LGBTQ community.
