About me

Are you feeling weighed down by unhealthy behaviors, anxious thoughts, or a critical inner voice that you just cannot seem to quiet? Often, the struggles we face today—like constant anxiety, depression, or feeling stuck—stem from the survival strategies and messages we picked up/leanred during a difficult childhood. If you are ready to redefine who you are on your own terms, create a new identity blueprint--you are in the right place. My career has been built on helping people navigate deep-seated trauma. I spent years working extensively with foster youth, which gave me a profound understanding of childhood trauma. Today, alongside my private practice, I work on a frontline crisis line triaging severe emotional distress and suicidal ideation. This intense work has made me highly adept at sitting with people in their darkest, and heaviest moments. I excel at helping individuals interrupt overwhelming, negative thought loops and gently guiding them back to a place where they can remember they are safe, loved, worthy, and valued. I am also a proud military veteran. This part of my identity led me to serve as a therapist in an inpatient drug rehabilitation center for veterans—a role that remains incredibly near and dear to my heart. Because of my lived experience, I understand the unique pressures, sacrifices, and invisible wounds that come with military life. In our sessions, we will work together to uncover the old narratives holding you back and consciously rewrite them into positive, empowering beliefs. I am a firm believer that "we are what we think." Using practical, evidence-based tools (like CBT, DBT, and Narrative therapy), we will actively reshape your thought patterns. You do not have to carry this weight alone. Together, we will set reachable, realistic goals to help you find relief, clarity, and a much happier path forward.

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we focus entirely on building a comfortable, trusting space where you feel truly heard. Once we get to know each other, we will dive into what brings you to therapy and what you hope to achieve.I call this process finding your "bulls-eye." Together, we will define exactly what success looks like for you so that you’ll know the moment you have hit your target. Because I am highly goal-oriented, we will regularly check in on your progress and celebrate your wins.Growth is a lifelong journey—we never truly stop evolving. As you build emotional and behavioral strength, your needs will naturally shift. We will continuously adapt and update your goals together, ensuring you are always moving forward on a dynamic path toward the life you want.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I combine crisis-tested emotional safety, deep childhood trauma expertise, and my perspective as a military veteran to help you break free from old narratives and hit your personal goals.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

In my practice, I blend Narrative Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) into a seamless, high-impact approach: Narrative Therapy uncovers the old stories holding you back, while CBT gives you the concrete tools to rewrite these stories and to create a new idenity blueprint. Instead of treating these as separate clinical protocols, I use them together as a step-by-step roadmap for your growth journey.
