New to Grow
Hi, I’m Nelly Rico Blustajn, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who works with adults, couples, and parents. I specialize in relationships, parenting, and co-parenting, and I take a solution-focused approach to help you move forward with clarity and intention. With over 35 years of experience supporting families, I bring a warm, collaborative style and a deep understanding of real-life challenges. As a Spanish-speaking therapist with a strong connection to Latino families, I value culture, connection, and helping you feel truly understood.
You can expect a warm, welcoming space where you feel comfortable sharing what’s been going on and what brought you to therapy. We’ll talk about your goals—especially around relationships, parenting, or co-parenting—and begin to identify what’s working, what feels stuck, and where you’d like to see change. I take a solution-focused approach, so we’ll start looking at practical steps and small shifts that can make a real difference. My style is supportive, honest, and collaborative. By the end of the session, most clients leave with greater clarity and a sense of direction for moving forward.
I connect with clients quickly and create a space that feels both safe and productive. My style is warm, honest, and direct—I support you while also helping you stay focused on meaningful change. Using a solution-focused approach, I help clients gain clarity, improve communication, and make practical shifts in their relationships, parenting, and co-parenting. I also bring a strong cultural lens, especially in working with Latino families, so clients feel understood in a way that truly fits their lives.
I work best with adults, couples, and parents who are ready to improve their relationships and create more balance and clarity in their lives. Many of my clients feel stuck in patterns that aren’t working—whether in communication, parenting, or co-parenting—and are looking for practical ways to move forward. My ideal clients are open to reflection and ready to make meaningful changes, even if they’re not exactly sure where to start. They value support, but also appreciate a therapist who is honest, collaborative, and focused on solutions. I’m especially well positioned to support those navigating relationship challenges, parenting stress, and co-parenting dynamics, and I bring a culturally responsive approach, particularly for Latino families who value connection, respect, and strong family bonds.
Solution Focused Brief Treatment
I use a solution-focused brief therapy approach to help clients move toward clear, practical change. We focus on your strengths, what’s already working, and the outcomes you want—especially in relationships, parenting, and co-parenting. Together, we identify small, intentional shifts that can lead to meaningful progress, helping you feel more confident and supported as you move forward.
