(she/her)
Hello! I’m Tara Melvin Jr (she/her/hers), a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and the therapist behind Clio Pathways LLC, a fully remote therapy practice serving adults (18+) throughout Florida. If you are standing at a threshold in your life where the old story no longer fits but the next one has not yet formed, this work may resonate with you. I work with people navigating transitions such as endings, burnout, pattern repetition, identity shifts, and moments of deep reconsideration about how they are living their lives. Together, we explore what you are ready to release, what is emerging, and how to begin building a next chapter that feels more aligned and intentional. At its core, this is a space where you can pause, take stock, and begin consciously shaping what comes next, rather than repeating what came before. If you are in a season of transition and ready to begin building your next chapter, I invite you to reach out by phone, text, or email to schedule a consultation or book directly on my schedule. You do not have to write this chapter alone.
Our first session is about understanding the full picture. I'll ask thoughtful questions about your history, what brought you to therapy, and where you hope to go. Progress often begins with the small shifts; pausing before reacting, recognizing patterns, or making choices that move you even 2% closer to the life you want.
My style is conversational, direct, reflective, and collaborative. I'll celebrate your wins, sit with you through the hard moments, and gently hold you accountable to the goals we establish together. I work best with clients who are ready to engage in the process, practice between sessions, and create meaningful, lasting change.
I provide telehealth therapy for adults and couples. I specialize in trauma processing, anxiety, life transitions, and identity exploration. I teach skills for boundary setting, assertive communication, and emotion regulation. I work with poly and LGBTQ+ clients, BIPOC groups. My eclectic, integrative approach draws from evidence-based therapies. Life can feel confusing or overwhelming and therapy can help you make sense of it. I provide honest, collaborative support. I help you explore your identity, process experiences, and develop skills to move forward.
