First session
While maintaining confidentiality and privacy, I always start with an introductory session where my clients can share their stories, and together we set a therapeutic outcome. My clients get actively involved in their plan of care, and I strive to value their input. From there, we work together on the path to building and achieving the clients' goals.
Strengths
With a holistic, integrative, and open-minded therapeutic approach, I work both independently with my clients and as part of a team. I strive to create a private, warm, authentic environment that allows my clients to feel relaxed and free to share their vulnerabilities. I focus on clients aged 12 and older who are struggling with depression, ADHD, PTSD, insomnia, and bipolar disorder.
Treatment methods
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I'd use CBT to help you understand how your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are connected and how they can influence the way you feel each day. Together, we'll identify unhelpful thinking patterns that may be contributing to anxiety, depression, stress, or other challenges, and work to replace them with more balanced and realistic ways of thinking. We'll also focus on practical strategies to help you develop healthier coping skills, change behaviors that may be keeping you stuck, and build confidence in managing difficult situations. Between sessions, I may suggest simple exercises or techniques to practice in your daily life so you can apply what we've discussed in real-world situations. My goal is to provide you with evidence-based tools that not only help reduce symptoms but also empower you to manage future challenges with greater resilience and confidence.
