Hi, I am a Licensed Professional and Certified Biblical Counselor. I have a strong desire to help others have a change of heart, mind, and spirit! I have a passion for working with individuals who want to improve their lives and find meaning and purpose in their lives. I strive to instill hope, perseverance, and biblical truth to help clients reach their goals and find the root of their problems.
The first session is an opportunity to begin building a trusting relationship and lay the foundation for future work together and your goals for therapy. It's a time to get to know you and for you to know the therapist! I will ask questions to understand the client’s background and current struggles, creating a comfortable space for open dialogue. The therapist will explain the therapy process, confidentiality, and how sessions typically work.
As a therapist, I believe my greatest strengths lie in my empathy, listening skills, and ability to create a safe, nonjudgmental space for clients to explore their thoughts and emotions. I have a passion for working with individuals who want to improve their lives and find meaning and purpose in their lives. I strive to instill hope, perseverance, and biblical truth to help clients reach their goals and find the root of their problems.
I received my master’s degree from Angelo State University and Texas A&M-San Antonio. I earned a Certificate in Biblical Counseling from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Over the years, I have had the privilege of working with school-age children, adolescents, and adults and providing couples counseling through church ministries. I have been called to this work from my own experience of finding healing and forgiveness through Christ.
I incorporate biblical principles into the therapeutic approach. A person’s spiritual and emotional health are interconnected, and because of this, addressing both the spiritual and psychological aspects is essential for overall well-being.
