Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, I will get to know you using your intake form and any other questions I may have. We will work to identify therapeutic goals and dive into working toward those goals.

The treatment methods and tools I utilize

I use cognitive behavioral, solution-focused, trauma-focused approaches, and dialectical behavioral therapy approaches, along with other tools to help clients understand their emotions, thoughts, and beliefs as we move toward more effective functioning.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I am genuine and value honesty and realness over all. I tend to be straighforward and direct, which I find my clients appreciate.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work with clients of various (13-65) but also specialize in working with adolescents. Speaking teenager is a unique skill I have honed over the years! Being married to a firefighter has also given me a desire to help first responders and their families navigate the unique challenges they face also.
