Tonya Succio
Hello! Have you been struggling and not sure if anything can help? I am here to tell you that you do NOT have to continue to struggle alone! I am here to help you meet your goals for your mental health. I am dual board certified in family practice and psych and mental health as a nurse practitioner.
I do medication management, but can also make referrals as needed. There are good options with none medication treatments such as TMS.
I have been a nurse since 2003, an FNP since 2017, and a psych-certified NP since 2022. I believe in us working as a team to help you get through this difficult journey. I can relate to you on a personal level as I too have struggled with depression and anxiety. Together we can help improve your life and mental health. I am LBGTQ+ friendly. I have a lot of experience with treating clients with PTSD (Veterans and non-Veterans), depression, anxiety, ADHD, OCD, and eating disorders. If you have failed multiple medications, some things can help guide us in choosing the correct medication based on your genetic makeup! I can see ages 4 and up. I am also certified with Neurostar TMS to provide non-invasive treatment options for depression, anxious depression, and OCD. Tackling mental health can be frightening, but together we can overcome these struggles as a team!
First session
In the first session you can expect to be heard! You will be able to confide in me and know that you are not going to be judged or belittled. We discuss what medications you have tried and what maybe work best for you.
Strengths
I am a good listener and feel that everyone's journey is different, but no one's journey should be minimized. Everyone deserves a voice and to be heard! I love helping Veterans and others that struggle with PTSD. I am well versed in any diagnosis in the mental health realm. I can see ages 4 and up.
Ideal clients
I really enjoy any age, but especially the children and adolescents. They are challenging and face a lot of issues in school. I have been teased and in difficult relationships throughout school. It is important to be heard and have your feeling validated. Your feelings and perspective are important! I have been through things in my life that I am understanding and can relate to what you are going through.
