I am a licensed psychotherapist that specializes in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). CBT is a type of counseling used to help clients with a variety of issues including addiction, marital problems, anger, post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), eating disorders, depression, anxiety, panic disorder, or any other life problem that is stressful. I have been practicing as a licensed clinical social worker since 1997.
Our first session is a chance for me to get to know you. I’ll ask a series of questions to better understand who you are and what concerns you’re facing, so we can begin building a foundation for meaningful progress.
I'm deeply passionate about psychotherapy and committed to helping clients create lives that reflect their values and aspirations. I also dedicate significant time to studying evidence-based approaches, using this knowledge to inform and enhance my work in therapy.
I believe in a collaborative therapeutic relationship, where my clients and I work together as a team to address their concerns. Practicing skills between sessions is also essential, as it helps clients build momentum and achieve their treatment goals more effectively.
I specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I am a Beck Institute-certified CBT clinician and have extensive training in ACT.
Through Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), I support my clients in navigating challenging thoughts and emotions as they arise, while guiding them toward meaningful actions that align with the life they truly want to lead.
