New to Grow
I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California with over 11 years of clinical experience. I work with children, teens, adults, and older adults, supporting individuals across the lifespan who are seeking clarity, emotional relief, and meaningful change in their lives. My approach is warm, grounded, and collaborative, with a direct and down-to-earth style. I integrate evidence-based, trauma-informed care with practical, strengths-based strategies to help you understand patterns, shift perspectives, and build more effective ways of coping. Therapy with me is an active process where we focus on what’s getting in the way, what’s possible, and how to move toward lasting change in a way that feels manageable and authentic to you. I believe in creating a supportive space where clients can be honest, reflect deeply, and take meaningful steps forward. Together, we focus on building insight, strengthening existing resources, and developing tools that support emotional balance, healthier relationships, and greater overall wellbeing.
In our first session, we’ll begin by talking through what brings you in and what feels most important right now. I’ll ask thoughtful, straightforward questions to better understand your current concerns, history, and goals. This initial conversation helps us begin shaping a clear direction for our work together, so you leave with a sense of structure, support, and what the therapy process may look like moving forward.
Clients often find that I create a steady, nonjudgmental space where they can quickly get to the heart of what’s going on. I balance warmth with clarity and offer both reflection and practical guidance. Drawing from evidence-based approaches along with mindfulness and cognitive-behavioral tools, I help clients reduce distress, increase self-awareness, and build practical skills they can use in everyday life. Many clients notice increased clarity, confidence, and emotional steadiness as our work develops.
I work with pre-teens, teens, and adults who are navigating life challenges, transitions, relationship concerns, anxiety, depression, social difficulties, or challenging individual and family patterns. I enjoy supporting both men and women who are seeking greater self-understanding, motivation, personal growth, and positive change. For clients who desire it, I also offer Christian counseling and can incorporate faith into the therapeutic process.
Other specialties
I identify as
Psychodynamic
My approach is grounded in psychodynamic theory, focusing on how past experiences, early relationships, and unconscious patterns influence present thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. I work collaboratively to help clients increase insight into these patterns and how they show up in daily life. Through this process, clients develop greater self-awareness, recognize recurring dynamics, and create meaningful, lasting change.
Strength-Based
I draw from a variety of therapeutic approaches depending on each client’s needs, including a strengths-based and solution-focused approach that emphasizes existing resources, resilience, and practical strategies for change. This approach helps clients clarify goals, build on what is already working, and take realistic steps toward meaningful progress. It supports increased confidence, improved coping skills, and forward-focused growth.
Narrative
Narrative therapy approaches focus on exploring the stories people hold about themselves and their experiences. Together, we look at how these narratives have been shaped, identify unhelpful or limiting patterns, and create space for new, more empowering perspectives. This process supports clients in developing greater meaning, self-understanding, and the ability to move forward in more intentional ways.
Mindfulness-Based Therapy
Mindfulness-Based Therapy supports clients in becoming more present and aware of their thoughts, emotions, and physical sensations without judgment. This approach helps increase emotional regulation, reduce reactivity, and create space between experience and response. Clients often develop greater clarity, calm, and the ability to respond to life’s challenges with more intention.
