Hello! I know it takes a lot of courage to come to therapy, so I’m glad you’re here. My goal is to create a safe, non-judgmental space to process your current challenges, and help you build on your inherent strengths to create your unique path to wellness. My clinical experience includes working with young adults and adults in a variety of clinical settings over the past twelve years. My approach to therapy is client-centered, strength-based, and solution-focused.
In our first session together, we will start with getting to know a little bit of history about you then dive in to the specific challenges you are facing. This will help us develop an individualized treatment plan to help you meet your goals.
My goal is to help you feel empowered and gain insight to your strengths to bring out your best self. I do not believe therapy is a "one size fits all" so I strongly believe therapeutic approaches used should be individualized to tailor each of my client's unique needs and goals.
My goal is to help you gain insight to your internal healing abilities and guide you on your path towards mental health wellness. We aren't often taught healthy ways to cope with life's challenges, and I aim to provide a safe space to work through trauma, relationships, anxiety, negative thinking patterns, and other obstacles. I provide a safe and supportive collaborative environment to promote self-awareness, healing, and personal growth to reach your full potential. Therapy can be helpful to gain new perspectives and insight into your thoughts and behaviors.
I have experience using evidence based practice of CBT to help you understand the relationship between your thoughts feelings, and behaviors and help you cope with your symptoms
In my practice, I utilize Person Centered therapy to give the client a safe non judgmental space, bring unconditional positive regard and empathy to meet client where they are.
With utilizing mindfulness techniques in my practice, I am able to help clients learn to be more aware of the present moment in order to reduce automatic negative responses
